The Artist & Label Partnerships team works with key artists, managers and labels to create and execute impactful marketing campaigns. The team builds and leverages industry relationships to further Spotify’s marketing and partnership initiatives. Editorial is responsible for identifying content/music gaps on platform and then curating respective playlists on platform.
One of the challenges we face is around building and connecting with a younger Black and LatinX audiences (ages 18-24) with our flagship playlist properties and marketing campaigns, as it pertains to hip hop, R&B, Caribbean, Latin and music from the Diaspora.
We recently met with the Latin team because we know there's a ton of potential to have crossover ideas, especially since Hip hop has influenced the Latin space so much. We are looking for applicants to ideate around how to target and engage with both Hip Hop and Latin music listeners in an innovative way. For this solution, we'd like applicants to identify key moments that both Black & LatinX audiences celebrate and/or artists that Urban Music Team (inclusive of Hip Hop, R&B, Caribbean, Latin, Afro etc.) should execute innovative marketing campaigns around in order to build consumer demographic, strengthen audience engagement, and build awareness of playlist properties.
